Never Marching Alone returns to the Annapolis Valley for its second Valley march, October 10, in recognition of World Mental Health Day.
The march will begin at the Waterville & District Fire Station and travel through Aylesford, Kingston and Greenwood before continuing on to the Middleton fire station.
A lot has happened since last year’s first series of Nova Scotia marches. Never Marching Alone is now a registered Nova Scotia non-profit organization focused on supporting the mental health and wellness of current and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces, first responders, public safety personnel, and their families. The group works toward this through education, peer support, advocacy, connection and collaboration, with a focus on strengthening support within the communities it serves.
Never Marching Alone’s message for this year’s march is simple: new year, same mission.
