The white and red of the Grand Council flag rose into a blue and white morning sky May 19, over 14 Wing Greenwood, as the Defence Indigenous Advisory Group launched Indigenous Awareness Week.
Wednesday events will include a 9 a.m. smudging (outdoors at the Birchall Centre), a display and sale of Indigenous art in the Birchall lobby at 10 a.m., and a 1 p.m. free screening of “Saints and Warriors” in the Birchall Theatre.
Defence Team members and community friends are welcome.
