Para PowerPlay’s Winter Carnival all-star showcase game is coming up Thursday, February 19, at the Greenwood Gardens Arena; being held in conjunction with the 14 Wing Greenwood Winter Carnival.
Game night, Para PowerPlay all-stars will take on the South Shore I.C.E. Storm in a para hockey game. Doors open to the public at 6 p.m., with player introductions at 6:30 p.m., followed by the national anthem, opening ceremony and puck drop, with Paralympic Gold Medalist Paul Rosen. The event will also include live, interactive activities rink-side, prizes – including a gift basket worth more than $1,000 in gift cards and items like an official Bauer Olympic Jersey; and, any minor hockey player coming to the game with a team jersey will receive a certified NHL puck with an NHL team logo. Some lucky fans will win signed merchandise.
