14 Wing Greenwood’s 405 (Long Range Patrol) Squadron members, and friends, are thrilled to report their December 13 festive food drive was a tremendous success, thanks to those who volunteered their day to help out – and those who visited community collections and contributed!
The combined effort raised 689 pounds of food and $1,504.75 in cash, which has been shared between the Upper Room Food Bank in Kingston and the Twelve Baskets Food Bank in Middleton.
Special shout-out to Lieutenant-Colonel Joel Stubbert and Chief Warrant Officer Derek Stratton for dropping off coffees and treats for volunteers, and to Honorary Colonel Sophie Saulnier for dropping by each location to check in with volunteers.
