Mission success means essential admin handled
Corporal XiaoTing Shan, a financial services administrator at 14 Wing Greenwood, provides financial assistance and budget resources that support military activities and personnel – at home and around the world.
During Exercise Dynamic Manta 25, February 28 to March 14, Shan played a valuable role in the overall success of the exercise. Coordinating with various departments, she ensured travel and financial processes ran smoothly, and claims were processed in a timely manner.
After spending 12 years in Montreal, Shan joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2022. She and her husband, a Regular Force member and aircraft structures technician, both work at 14 Wing Greenwood.
Shan holds a diploma in accounting and management, specialized military qualifications and is in the process of completing her bachelor’s degree. She enjoys gardening in the summer and growing different vegetables throughout the seasons.
