Happy 56th birthday, Logistics Branch buds!
14 Wing Greenwood logisticians gathered in the Annapolis Cafe for cake and coffee February 2, a chance to celebrate the February 1, 1968, birthday of the Canadian Armed Forces Branch. Many of 14 Wing’s logisticians are members of 14 Mission Support Squadron, but you will find them anywhere and everywhere.
“Logistics sometimes may not be the most praised job around, and sometimes could be mundane,” said 14 MSS Lieutenant-Colonel Sonya Scanlon-Simms, “but everything that moves on this base moves because of everyone in this room. Everything in the Canadian Armed Forces that operates, operates because of you.
“What you do is appreciated.”
While logisticians across the CAF celebrated February 1, 14 Wing’s contingent had a busy logisticians’ birthday day, as many were involved with responsibilities as the base hosted a visit from the Royal Canadian Air Force command team, Lieutenant-Colonel Eric Kenny and Chief Warrant Officer John Hall.
