October 24, the Greenwood Amateur Radio Club will host its annual flea market: root through all sorts of amateur radios, computers and electronics for a find; or sell your old stuff.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greenwood Community Centre, 110 Church St., Greenwood. Admission is $5 per person, and there will be door prizes, raffle draws and a 50/ 50. Enjoy a cash BBQ, featuring bratwursts and hot dogs, plus muffins, pop, water, and tea/ coffee. Talk in, too, at VE1WN 147.240+ : a GARC member will be on the air to answer questions and give directions.
To book a sellers’ table, contact flea market coordinator Carol at VE1ICY or cfhutchinson@gmail.com. Tables are $5 each, and sellers may set up from 8 a.m.
For further information, contact GARC president Brian Mullen, at VE1BZZ or garc.ve1wn@gmail.com
