Due to operational requirements, 14 Wing Greenwood will be closed to the general public from October 5 to 8.
Starting at 12:01 a.m. Monday, October 5, access to 14 Wing will be restricted to Canadian Armed Forces and Department of National Defence personnel, and civilians in direct support of construction and contractors supporting operations. One hundred per cent identification checks will be in effect and may result in traffic delays on Ward Road and Kingswood Road/ Swordfish Drive.
Members of the public will not be permitted beyond the main gate, including access to the Fitness and Sports Centre: Freedom Aviation, the Greenwood Golf Club and the Zedex Theatre will be closed. Base services located outside of the main gate will maintain their regular hours.
Public access to 14 Wing will resume at 11:59 p.m. Thursday, October 8.
