14 Wing Greenwood will conduct Exercise AGILE WARRIOR from September 21 to 26, with approximately 70 Canadian Armed Forces personnel operating from airports across the Maritimes.
Members of the public may notice an increased military presence in Yarmouth, as well as Moncton and Fredericton, during the exercise, including the potential for military aircraft to be operating from civilian airports in those communities.
The increased military presence and aircraft activity in participating communities are part of planned training activity and there is no risk to the public.
Exercise AGILE WARRIOR is part of the Royal Canadian Air Force’s ongoing training to develop Agile Combat Employment (ACE) capabilities. ACE involves operating from multiple, dispersed locations rather than relying solely on centralized bases. This approach helps build a more flexible, resilient and adaptable air force capable of continuing operations in a range of challenging environments.
