A 413 (Transport and Rescue) Squadron CH149 Cormorant crew spent June 8 training with crew from the CCGS Baie de Gaspé, based out of Lifeboat Station Rivière-au-renard, in the Gaspe region.
The helicopter crew was working on pilot upgrades and search-and-rescue technicians’ boat-hoisting qualifications, and the opportunity to work with partners throughout the squadron’s area of responsibility on the East Coast is an important opportunity for everyone to familiarize themselves with joint operations.
