Survey gathering contacts for athletes, coaches, managers, supporters
Canadian Armed Forces members interested in joining a CAF rugby team are being recruited now, as athletes, coaches and regional supporting representatives.
A survey is collecting feedback on interest in playing with either men’s or women’s 7s or 15s teams, and coaching, managing or supporting roles. It also asks for availability for open try-outs in May, June and July. Organizers are specifically looking for athletes interested in joining a women’s 7s national team that could represent the CAF at an international match – the opener for the Canadian Women’s 15s team match in Ottawa this Fall. Tryout and development camps are in the planning stages.
