7Arts in Greenwood is hosting a variety of workshops for veterans, free thanks to support from the True Patriot Love Foundation.
Register today at 7arts.ca/veterans. No experience or equipment is needed to attend any of the workshops. Life Through A Mask begins May 25 and teaches how to sculpt with plaster and clay, with a focus on healing through creativity. Fishing fly tying will start in June, where participants get to create many types of fishing flies. The initiative also includes the including the Veterans Art Pass, which can be used to attend any 7Arts class.
7Arts provides all the tools, so the only requirement is to sign up and show up! Space is limited and groups are small to make sure the workshops are comfortable for everyone.
A complimentary Friday morning coffee for military members and veterans also happens every week at 7Arts from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks are provided.
