Mass movement against violence against women and girls
Friends at The Women’s Place Resource Centre in Kingston have a special “break the chain” event Wednesday, May 20, and they invite community friends to join them.
Come to Stronach Park on Bridge Street for noon, and play your part in the mass action, ‘round the world One Billion Rising campaign, which calls for an end to violence against women and girls. Take a bit of time before you come to catch the steps of a collective dance: combined movement reflects solidarity with women and girls worldwide.
