14 Wing Greenwood launched the start of Public Service Pride Week, August 18 to 22, with a flag-raising event at 26 Canadian Forces Health Services. The wing’s Defence Team Pride Advisory organization military and civilian co-chairs, Corporal Alex Anderson, left, and Wayne Kelley lead the event for the gathered Defence Team.
Public Service Pride Week is dedicated to 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion, ensuring diversity, equity and belonging resonate across the globe. This year’s theme is “Together, We Create Change,” emphasizing the strength that comes from unity. Individuals and teams can drive meaningful progress for the community within their public service.
