In appreciation of National Public Service Week June 15 to 21, 14 Wing Greenwood hosted a free BBQ at the Community Centre June 20 for the wing’s civilian employees. The event featured food, prizes and the chance to socialize.
Public Service and civilian members make valuable contributions to 14 Wing Greenwood, and surrounding communities. This year’s theme is “Past and present, your service matters.”
Colonel Luc Vachon addressed the event and conveyed the base’s appreciation.
“Thank you for all you do, and for supporting and creating an environment where there are no worries.
“Thank you very much – we appreciate all the work you’ve done.”
