May 8 is McHappy Day across the land, including here in Greenwood. 14 Wing Greenwood personnel are taking on shifts with Kings West MLA Chris Palmer, Kings RCMP, Kingston District Fire Department volunteers, Grimace and Sparky, Kings County Deputy Mayor Riley Peckford and a host of other local celebs and community representatives to help support Ronald McDonald House Charities and Brigadoon Village.
“The base is an integral part of the Greenwood community, and we need to do our share – this is a great opportunity to come out together and raise funds for a good cause,” said 14 Wing Greenwood Commander Colonel Luc Vachon.
