It’s yard sale season in the 14 Wing Greenwood Residential Housing Units’ neighbourhood!
Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4, the wing’s 500 RHUs’ residents are encouraged to join in the annual 14 Wing Community Council yard sale, both days, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Be sure to keep your yard sale in your own yard, and a reminder this is the only approved weekend to sell your stuff in the RHU neighbourhood through the spring and summer months.
The annual Valley Waste bulk Spring pick-up happens May 12 to 16 (in the RHUs). Any curbside bulk pick-up material must be bagged, bundled and sorted as Valley Waste requires ( https://www.vwrm.com/ ). If you miss the Spring clean-up week, or have items that can’t go curbside, RHU residents must get them to Valley Waste/ electronics disposal/ recycling centres.
