14 Wing Greenwood’s Personnel Support Program aquatics offers activities and formal trainings in both the indoor and outdoor (seasonal) pools, open to the military community and the general public. Programs include public swims, swimming lessons and certification opportunities in lifeguarding, aquasize instruction and more. May 16 to 19 – Lifesaving Society lifesaving instructor (LSI) and first aid instructor (FAI) examiner course taking place at 14 Wing Greenwood. If you are interested in learning how to teach Bronze Star, Medallion or Cross, this is the course for you. With this course you will also learn how to instruct Intermediate First Aid. You must be a certified lifeguard through the Lifesaving Society to take this course. For information, contact Kathryn McPhee, kathrynm@extramileleadership.ca. Course cost: $375.
