August 4, 404 (Long Range Patrol and Training) Squadron will mark a change of command with a ceremony at 14 Wing Greenwood’s Annapolis Mess.
Out-going Lieutenant-Colonel Josh Christianson will turn responsibility for the unit over to the incoming commanding officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Alex Gignac. 14 Wing Greenwood Commander Colonel Jeff Davis will be the presiding officer.
The ceremony is invitation only at the Mess, beginning at 10 a.m. Dress is DEU 1A for guests. A livestream is available by request by contacting Warrant Officer Vincent Cheeke, vincent.cheeke@forces.gc.ca.
Gignac is posted to Greenwood from Directorate Air Requirements 3 Manager Maritime, where he oversaw all maritime air, crewed airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; electronic warfare and avionics projects for the Royal Canadian Air Force.
