If you’ve ever wondered about what the Canadian Armed Forces’ Space Division does (or are surprised to learn we have a Space Division), a January 31 briefing at 14 Wing Greenwood is meant for you!
This unclassified session marks an exciting opportunity for members of 14 Wing to attend an educational briefing on space operations in the CAF. The briefing will be provided by members of the 7th Space Operations Squadron, of 3 Canadian Space Division. Topics will include Canadian space operations, offensive and defensive space control, space weather and current threats in space. Time at the end of the session will be reserved for members to ask any questions they may have. The briefings is not intended as a recruiting session but, rather, to expand 14 Wing personnel’s knowledge on Canada’s role in the space domain.
The briefing will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., January 31, in the Birchall Theatre. This is a great opportunity to learn about Canada’s rapidly expanding role in the space environment.
