    Corporal Kaitlyn Heighton, from 144 Construction Engineer Flight (144 CEF) Pictou, attended the Canadian Women in Aviation (CWIA) Conference 2026, held at Le Centre Sheraton in Montreal from May 12 to 14. Established in 1991, the CWIA brings together women from all sectors of the aviation industry to network, share ideas and inspire one another.

    Members of 14 Mission Support Squadron’s Construction Engineer Flight (CE Flt) at 14 Wing Greenwood, along with engineers from other locations, successfully completed more than 4,600 kilometres of planned physical activity throughout June before concluding the initiative with Ex Chimo River Run ‘26, an iron warrior-inspired event designed to celebrate the month’s accomplishments.
